  • A small 4x4 suv sleeper!

An economical, reliable, attractive, low maintenance workhorse. I got this car because my wife liked it and we had had jeeps before [then Subarus, traded in a Forester]. I didn't think I'de like it what with the CVT racing engine et. al. But as I've gotten to know the vehicle I'm amazed and very impressed. Jeep has totally undersold this particular model. 1. Maintenance is really cheap a] Dealer oil & filter change = $25 b] 35K spark plug change = $113 c] 40K CVT filter and fluid change =$114 And so it goes like that! This model jeep was designed as a world vehicle to allow basic type service anywhere. 2. Outdoes all others of this class in 4wd conditions -- works just as good as the Subaru! 3. Surprising MPG with CVT = 21 city, 29 trips 4. Excellent visability and seating support 5. Always starts instantly [coils on each plug wire] 6. High water capable 7. High ground and angle of attack ground clearance, yet fun to drive.

I got my 2016 Jeep Compass in April last year and have loved it ever since. It may not be a mustang, camaro, or a Big Bad Wrangler, but it still is great. I had never heard of the car till we went to look at it. Its almost a year later are we put in an aftermarket radio and subs and now its popin. Plus people just love it because it has the jeep name. I can be your jeep with out the Jeep price.
  • The worst

This was THE WORST vehicle I’ve ever owned & I’ve owned an 30 year old Dodge Dakota. Not fast, not good on gas, not reliable & not built to last. The worse part of this vehicle is the throttle body. It’s built & placed at a weird place. It will give u problems every year or so. The part isn’t expensive but, u will have to get it put on a computer just to reset it. The 1st time the dealership charged me $1200. 2 years later....yep $1000. DONT BUY THIS CAR!
